Descaling your Cast Iron pipes is a method that we use to remove the rust, debris and build up. We use a machine from Picote. It has small chains on the head that remove the scaling and debris. Please see video. When we use this process, the scaling needs to be removed from the line by either jetting or vacuuming out the debris. If the scaling and debris are not removed, it can cause further backups and blockages. Always request an after video of the line after the line has been descaled or jetted.
